How will the virtual race work?

This year we’ve partnered with Strava to give runners a great virtual Ultra Night Run experience. After registration, runners will be given access to join the 5 or 10k experience.

Will there be finishers medals?

Yes, finishers medals will be included in all race kits.

Are there predetermined routes?

Runners are free to determine their own 5k or 10k routes. Whether it’s on the streets of your city or on a treadmill at home, simply use Strava to track your efforts for the Ultra Night Run.

Is there a minimum age limit to join the Ultra Night Run?

You must be of legal drinking age in your province of residence to participate in the ULTRA Night Run.

How will I get my race kit?

Race kits will be mailed to the address submitted on your registration form. Some kits will also be available for pick up at select Running Room locations.

Is there a registration limit?

There are limited spots for this year’s event. The maximum number of participants for the 2020 Ultra Night Run is 7,000.

Can I get a refund or defer my registration to next year?

Sorry, we are not able to offer refunds or deferrals.

Where is the Ultra Night Run taking place?

This year, the Ultra Night Run is virtual and available for runners across Canada.

Can I run the Ultra Night Run with friends?

Yes! However, we encourage all runners to follow social distancing guidelines set by your local governments.

Do I have to run at night?

Runners are free to complete the Ultra Night Run challenges at any time between October 2 – 4.
