AIR QUALITY UPDATE
As you know, forest fires have resulted in air quality issues across the province. ULTRA Night Run officials have been closely monitoring the Environment Canada Air Quality Index and weather forecast.
Currently, the forecasted air quality is at an acceptable level for participation and Saturdays events are planned as scheduled.
Participants know how to manage their race experience to minimize their health risks. You can get the latest air quality health index by visiting Government of Canada Air Quality website for updates.
It is an individual’s responsibility to choose whether or not to participate and to choose a distance that reflects their abilities and health factors. Those participants who believe that the air quality carries too great a health risk may choose a shorter distance at no charge. This can be done in-person at race kit pick up or by emailing into the firstname.lastname@example.org
The event team will issue a further update Saturday, August 25th at 8 AM on Ultra Night Run facebook page
